Today's FA Cup fourth round draw sees Gary Bowyer return to one of his former clubs.
For the caretaker boss was an academy coach at Derby County before he made the move to Lancashire to take charge of Rovers' under 18s over eight years ago.
Rovers will travel to Pride Park for the fourth round tie, with Bowyer admitting that he isn't too unhappy with a draw against a fellow championship club.
"We would have liked a home draw but we are not too disappointed," said Bowyer.
"It is a game that both teams will see as a way of progressing in the competition.
"For myself and Jake Kean it is a chance to go back to Derby County. Jake started there as a youngster, I can remember him as a ten year-old when I started coaching there.
"I"ve still got one or two friends there and it will be nice to see Nigel Clough who I of course know from our Forest days. He's done a fantastic job there so it'll be good to see him."
The tie will take place the weekend of the 26/27th January. Fixture and ticketing details will be confirmed in due course.
