Gary Bowyer could welcome back David Dunn and Josh King for the trip to face Leeds United on New Years Day.

The pair missed Sunday's loss to Birmingham with hamstring and back injuries respectively, but provided both come through training this Tuesday unscathed, they'll be back in the squad for the Roses clash.

Rovers are also awaiting the results of a scan on the thigh injury picked up in training by Todd Kane.

Speaking ahead of the match, manager Gary Bowyer said: "We are hopeful over both Josh King and David Dunn.

"With Todd Kane we are waiting on reports of a scan, but certainly we are expecting Kingy and hopefully Dunny to train on Tuesday. Corry Evans isn't too far away now."

One player definitely absent on Wednesday is Jason Lowe after the midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last time out, resulting in a one-match ban.

"We will miss Lowey because the amount of grass he covers and the number of miles he puts on the clock in a game is phenomenal, so he'll be a loss for us," added Bowyer.

"He has certainly improved his game this season, and contributed with a stunning goal against Middlesbrough, but we need more from him in the goal department."

Tickets for the Leeds match are currently on open sale priced £34.00 Adults, £23.00 Senior Citizens aged 60+, £23.00 Full Time Students aged 22+, £23.00 Young Adults 16 - 21 and £16.00 Juniors under 16 years.
