Gary Bowyer believes that Saturday's win over Derby County is just the boost Rovers need going into the final five games of the season.

Rovers picked up their first win in two months with the 2-0 Ewood Park victory at the weekend, and now as they prepare to face Huddersfield Town at home the caretaker boss is hopeful that the confidence will return for the match against the Terriers.

"I believe the harder you work the luckier you get," Bowyer told Radio Rovers after Saturday's game.

"From our efforts that is what you get and long may it continue.

"Last week at Sheffield Wednesday didn't mean we were relegated and this week doesn't mean we are safe.

"What it does mean is that we go into the next match on Tuesday with bags of confidence, and we go looking to produce the performance that we had today.

"It is a massive psychological boost for the players to be out of the bottom three, it is in our hands and we just have to take it game by game.

"The players know that they have to recover properly for the game on Tuesday as it is going to be a difficult game."

Tickets for Tuesday's match against Huddersfield are on open sale up unti the 7.45pm kick-off, priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 for Juniors Under 16.
