Rovers may be riding high at the top of the table but this evening's match against Barnsley certainly won't be easy.
That is the view of boss Steve Kean as Rovers look to maintain their unbeaten run and remain at the top of the npower Championship.
Rovers have a 100% home record so far this season after wins over Hull City and Leicester City, but Kean firmly believes that tonight's game against a Barnsley side managed by former Rovers defender Keith Hill will be the toughest test to date.
"It is going to be a tough game against Barnsley," said Kean. "I know everybody thinks that it is going to be easy, but there are going to be lots of challenges and a lot of obstacles to come up against and none more so than Barnsley and Middlesbrough in the next two games.
"The way they play, they have the two up front and the diamond in midfield with that supporting midfield player behind the two strikers so they will create chances, they will come and try and possibly play on the break.
"Because of where we are in the league people might think that it is going to be easy but there aren't any easy games and we'll treat Barnsley with total respect and we need to be right on it to make sure we get the result.
"Barnsley got a very good result with the draw at home to Blackpool at the weekend, they'll take encouragement from that and there's nothing better for an away team to come and play the team that is at the top of the table so that will bring out the best in his players I'm sure.
"We need to be right on it from the first minute because I truly believe this will be our toughest challenge yet."
