The 22-year-old was in inspirational form as Rovers kept the Gunners at bay at the Emirates, registering their first victory over Arsenal at that ground.
Speaking after the match the goalkeeper spoke of the high confidence that is running through the side at the moment and that the victory will only serve to boost that.
"It wasn't all down to me, I was in the right place at the right time," said Kean. "There were many blocks in there by the defenders.
"There's a confidence flowing throughout the team at the minute, especially within the back four. We are a strong unit, we work well together.
"They've been outstanding since I've come into the team, without them it could have been four or five.
"It is a massive result for us, we are on a good run as it is so staying in the cup will help us.
"We can build on the defensive performance that we showed and take it on from there to the game against Hull on Tuesday."
For the young 'keeper, the result and the performance is one of his own personal highlights from his fledgling career.
"It is up there, it is right up there with my professional debut and playing against Chelsea in the Premier League," added Kean.
"I don't think Arsenal have lost a home cup-tie for 13 years so it is nice to be a part of that and nice to be a part of the team at a young age.
"Hopefully we can build on those performances and build as a collective and go on from there."
