The midfield star turned his ankle last time out in Rovers' 4-2 away win over Huddersfield Town, forcing him off midway through the first half. But Lowe believes he still has a chance of featuring at Ewood Park against the table-toppers.
"I've done it a few times before, I know what they are like," said Lowe.
"I'll see what it is like, we'll assess it, but I'm optimistic for the weekend."
The former England Under-21 international believes Rovers can go into the weekend match against Leicester City in good heart following the win. But knows that it won't be easy against Nigel Pearson's side.
Lowe added: "It was a great win for the lads, they really dug it out and came away comfortable winners in the end. I thought we fully deserved that victory.
"Leicester are obviously top of the league, flying and look favourites for the promotion, so it will be a good test for us and a good challenge.
"If we can pick up maximum points from this game then it gets the ball rolling and that is what we want to be doing, especially at this time of the season.
"We are focussed on the next job and that is to get three points against Leicester. If we can do that then we'll move onto the next one.
"I think it is a great test for us and one we are looking forward to, and one that from the Huddersfield game we can take a lot of confidence and momentum into."
Tickets for Saturday's match will be on open sale until the 3.00pm kick-off. Tickets are priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors.
