"It is a fantastic piece of skill and if it had gone in it would have been re-run on the TV for weeks on end," Bowyer told Rovers Player
"It was good to get him on the pitch, he's got fantastic ability and he should have had a hat-trick.
"That said, he knows there are still areas on his game he needs to work on because he gave the opposition a couple of counter-attacks.
"He's a talented footballer that is for sure, I think there is only him in the team that could have actually tried that and executed it as well as he did."
