The 24-year-old, from Blackburn, was quick to renew for the 2013-14 season after Rovers announced their best ever value package for the forthcoming Championship campaign.
Carl expressed his delight at the ‘loyalty bonus’ deal, with prices frozen for next season – just £225 in the Blackburn End – with the prospect of paying just £56 for a Premier League season ticket should Rovers return to the top flight.
He is also looking forward to bringing his son Elliott along to Ewood Park for the first time, after taking advantage of the free Under-8s offer in the Family Stand.
Carl said: “The owners deserve a lot of credit for this, because there’s no better offer around!
“I’ve paid £56 just for one away ticket in the past, so the prospect of paying that for an entire season in the Premier League is unbelievable value.
“With Gary Bowyer in charge and if we can keep hold of our best players, then I think we’ve got a good chance of going up. Everyone just needs to give him and the team their total support.”
