Gary Bowyer expects Brighton & Hove Albion to prove another test of their credentials at the Amex Stadium this afternoon.

Rovers travel to the south coast club later today with the manager believing it will be a close match between two similar sides.

"I think they are similar to us in the sense that they've got a new manager and they've had a turnover of players," said Bowyer.

"Again they've lost a lot of players through injury and that is tough for a new manager, not only going into it but coming in from a different country.

"I think given time you will see what a good manager he is, he's got the philosophy that Brighton have had all along so we know it is going to be very difficult.

"They've got some good players, we've done our preparation and it is up to us to go into the game full of confidence.

"If we are going to be competitive in this league then you've got to win as many home games as you can and pick up as many points on the road as you can."
